Protecting Your Personal Information

Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI)

Consent to Uses of CPNI: Under federal law, you have the right, and ASTAC has a duty, to protect the confidentiality of certain personal information that we obtain solely as a result of providing you telecommunications services. This information, called CPNI, includes information that relates to the quantity, technical configuration, types, destinations, location, and amount of your use of our services that you utilize and related information on your bills. You name, address and telephone number are not CPNI.

ASTAC does not use CPNI data that enables the company or its affiliates to market additional products or services to its customers. Accordingly, ASTAC's personnel are trained not to use CPNI for such purposes.

Password Protection: In compliance with federal rules protecting confidentiality of CPNI, ASTAC has implemented a password protection on customer accounts. When customers call for information on their account they must: a) provide a pre-established password, b) information may be mailed to the customer's address of record or c) ASTAC will call the telephone number of record. When customers visit an ASTAC Customer Care Center the customer must provide a valid photo ID and name must match the account.

Data Security: To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and ensure appropriate use of information, appropriate physical, electronic and managerial safeguards have been established to secure the information we collect.

National Do Not Call Registry: The National Do Not Call Registry gives you a choice whether to receive telemarketing calls at home or on our mobile phone. You can register your home or mobile phone for free. For more information or to register your telephone number(s), go to the National Do Not Call Registry website at: or call 1-888-382-1222.
